Tired eyes no more with Melvita DIY 1-2-3 Organic Eye Spa

I noticed recent trends in facial salons giving away eye treatments free with a specific amount you spend with them or bundled in a special package. More often than not, eye treatments are fairly expensive and let's face it, one eye treatment will not produce instant results. Hence, people do not usually include eye treatment in their facial unless those of the more mature market where the eye treatment involve some lifting method using small electric currents. With eye treatments, it is important that you follow-up at home by using the right eye product.
For fine lines, dehydration or dark circles, there may be a better option if you do not indulge in a monthly facial or if your facial salon does not throw in a free eye treatment deal. Just recently, I was treated to a refreshing experience when Melvita taught a few of us how to combine some of their products for a do-it-yourself eye spa.

123 steps
The products you need to use is their Cornflower Floral Water, Avocado Oil and the Essential Eye Contour Gel. Of course, your main tool would be your clean, gentle fingers and if you purchase more than RM300 in Melvita this month, you would also bring home a cool eye mask as seen on the first picture on top.

This DIY regimen is apparently apt for "panda folks" in the city, according to the French organic brand. Ok, I have never written about Melvita before, right? And some of you might wonder if it is a vitamin brand or worse, like my Mr Oosband, he thought it is multi-level marketing. So, before I write a post especially on Melvita, you can check their website here.

cornflower floral water
Firstly, spray the Cornflower Floral Water generously on cotton pads which would then be placed on your eyes. Then, place the eye mask which you've kept earlier in the fridge to make it cool on top of your eyes. If you don't have the mask, you can skip the mask.

With the mask, you'd feel a cool sensation, your eyes will feel refreshed and it helps reduce puffiness. Relax for about 5 minutes but make sure you don't fall asleep, okay ;)

you can read the benefits of the floral water here.

avocado oil
Next, just one pump of this very light organic Avocado oil on your finger is quite sufficient, warm the product between your fingers and start a light massage on your eye area. Remember that your eye area is very delicate and you should not pull or tug on your skin.

You can make some dab light tapping so that the product is spread evenly. Then, using the fingers of one hand, hold one edge of your eye taut while the finger on the other hand slides on your under-eye from the inner part towards the edge. Repeat until the oil disappears completely.

The Avocado oil is 100% organic and pure. It is safe to be used on the eye area and can effectively lighten dry lines, fine lines and crow's feet.

eye gel
Last but not least, use the eye contour gel with light tapping movements. It works as an effective treatment to regenerate skin, reduce and prevent dark circles and fine lines and bring firmness to the skin. The soothing properties of cornflower, chamomile and neroli flower waters effectively lighten dark circles, fine lines and eye bags while centella, ginkgo biloba and buckwheat wax, help reduce swelling around the eyes. Apricot butter, jojoba oil and acacia will help soothe and tighten sagging skin around the eye contour while a complex of caffeine, willow and phospholipids will help smoothen and prevent fine lines.

By using pure organic plant ingredients free from unnecessary man-made chemicals, your most sensitive skin around the eyes can receive the most delicate and natural protection. And since you have these products at home, you can indulge any time not just once a month. In fact, they are safe to be used as often as every day, according to those people in Melvita.

faith training
There are many ways to massage the eye area, depending on what is your main concern and you can obtain the advise of the beauty consultants in Melvita if you'd like to find out more.

Melvita has an outlet in One Utama and KLCC, and I think another one is opening in Mid Valley. They have a full range of facial, body, hair and even baby products which are all certified by Ecocert, which means you can be sure that all their products are organic and promote a healthy lifestyle by being good to the environment. There are a few points which I discovered about Melvita which warrants a special post on its own.

Meanwhile, if you would like to check out the products, the Cornflower Floral Water is RM91 for 200ml, the Avocado oil is only RM70 for 50ml and the Eye Contour Gel is RM137 for 15ml.

Have you come across their outlets? Do you know that they're under the L'occitane brand?

I'm impressed, I have to admit. Seldom do I come across a blog
that's both educative and engaging, and let me tell you, you've hit the nail on the head.

The problem is something which not enough men and
women are speaking intelligently about. I'm very happy that I found this during my
search for something regarding this.
